What do I believe?

I am a Mormon.  A Christian.  A Latter-Day-Saint.
I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
I believe in Jesus Christ.  I know that He lives.  That He knows me.  That He loves me.

I believe that we have a living prophet on the earth today, just as in times of old.  His name is Thomas S. Monson.

I believe that in the spring of 1820 in Palmyra, New York, a young boy of 14 was visited by God, and His Son, Jesus Christ.  Through revelation, he was able to restore the true gospel on the earth today.  He was given specific doctrines and covenants and modern-day commandments to help lead and guide these modern generations.  His name was Joseph Smith.

I believe in a divine Plan of Salvation--a Plan of Happiness.  That this life is a time of testing and trials.  That it's temporal.  Transitional.  And truly meant to be enjoyed.  I believe in eternal families.  That families are forever.  That we can, if proven worthy in this life, return to live with our Heavenly Parents in a celestial realm someday.  They love us.  They want us to succeed.  They want us to be happy.

This is what I believe.  This is what I know.  And I love every bit of it.
